CAN's best ever finish at City Athletics Event

76  students from  Years 7-10 took part in the City Athletics Event at the  UEA Sportspark. There was some outstanding performances across the year groups. We were really proud of the way the students conducted themselves on and off the track. 

Highlights of the day included:

Wilondja Rajabu thought of the nerves to destroy the field in the u15 100m a stream finishing 10m ahead of the opposition. 

Ben Grey with some fantastic throws in the under 15 Javelin. Ben threw 35.57 to win the event by 10meters.

Justas Gurskas won the u15 shot putt competition with a putt of 10.70m

There was some notable performances from:

Ebony Mudd 100m

Alex Giles - 100m

Favor Agoba - 100m

Vicky Corner 300m

Courtney Lawes in the relay 

Both the  U14boys & U15 boys finished 3rd and the team finished joint 3rd overall which is the Academy's best ever finish. Thank you to Mr Taylor for organising and well done to all he students who represented the school so well.
