Keeping Students Safe
A child’s welfare is of paramount importance. Our school will establish and maintain an ethos where pupils feel secure, are encouraged to talk, are listened to and are safe. Children at our school will be able to talk freely to any member of staff at our school if they are worried or concerned about something.
Everyone who comes into contact with children and their families has a role to play in safeguarding children. We recognise that staff at our school play a particularly important role as they are in a position to identify concerns early and provide help for children to prevent concerns from escalating.
There are lots of ways we can keep our students safe and have listed some useful external websites as well as policies used within school. If you require further help, guidance or assistance please contact the school in confidence here.
Alternatively you can contact PC 9082 Hayley Howard our Safer Schools Officer, who is based at City Academy Norwich by telephone 01603 452628 ex 229 or by email.
