STEMM at the Norwich Science Festival

Year 9 and 10 STEMM students enjoyed a visit to the Norwich Science Festival at the Forum.

Highlights included a fascinating talk from scientists who explore rainforests and a fun demonstration by Dr Ken on gravity.  Two students took part in a demonstration, wearing specific blue t-shirts developed by scientists, for an app, which represents a virtual diagram of their own anatomy.  Budding CAN scientists had the chance to experiment with gel electrophoresis - separating DNA fragments according their size, with reearchers from the UEA and the John Innes Institute.
