How did you feel when you were writing the book Iron Fist?
Weirdly exited because I'd had the idea for ages, I was doing it for a television show which never got made, I got the idea back and sold it as a book.
What inspired you to become a writer?
I was a rubbish teacher and decided that I would like to be a writer as being able to convert my ideas to stories is just a brilliant job.
Which authors did you look up to when you were younger?
Roald Dahl, Arthur Conan-Doyle and JRR Tolken
How long have you been writing stories for?
Have you got any advice to students who want to become authors?
You have to make sure you finish your story and write lots.
What type of writer did you want to be when you were younger?
I didn’t know I was going to be a writer but now I get to write films, books and television shows.
Will there be a sequel to your new book, Iron Fist?
Yes, there will be at least four, one this October, one next May and one next October.
How many books have you published?
21 books in total so far.
