On Friday 4th May fifteen students from Years 7-9 took part in an Alternative Sports Festival at Lynn Sport in Kings Lynn. The event was part of the Norfolk School Games which aims to give more young people the opportunity to represent their school in school sport events. The students had the opportunity to take part in a range of alternative sports including, skateboarding, assault course, cycling, climbing wall, and a graffitti workshop."
"Mr Osborne, Head of Community Sport, who lead the trip commented - "It was great to be able to give the students the opportunity to represent the Academy at the festival. They represented the Academy really well along side pupils from other schools from across the County. Lots of the students were trying the activities for the very first time and it was great to see them all putting in plenty of effort".
